If you’ve been to the Amalfi Coast you know how beautiful and unique it is. The smell of the sea, the bougainvillea flowers everywhere, the winding roads along the cliff side, the sunset and how it turns the water pink and silver each time… it’s truly magical!
Our dear friends Michelle & Shervin got married there a few weeks ago and it was absolutely beautiful. An unforgettable trip with some of my favorite people ever.
The cherry on top of this whole trip was that my sister and her boyfriend got to join us ! We had such a wonderful time together that I still can’t believe it actually happen. For as long as I can remember my sister and I used to always dream about renting a boat in the amalfi coast and enjoy the Mediterranean summer together. This year we made that dream into a reality.
And it couldn’t have been more perfect. We rented a beautiful boat for the day and sailed along the coast from Capri to Positano, Minori, and Amalfi. We visited all 3 grottos , swam in them, and sailed under the legendary Faraglioni.
I haven’t even started to talk about the divine Italian food ! Mama mía! I will save that for another blog 😉

So my brother in law and his wife came to visit and stay with us for a few days including New Years. My husband’s birthday is Jan 1st but since we had NYE plans at Times Square, I decided to celebrate his birthday on the 30th. For lunch we all went to Eataly. He wanted beer and pizza and that exactly what we got for him. Continue reading “Happy Birthday Sweet Hubby”
My husband was adamant about preparing Christmas Eve Dinner. I was totally okay with that. He spent a lot of time and effort in making lamb, lobster bisque and lobster mac and cheese. And it was all SO delicious. This is our first year away from home for the holidays and I know Christmas means a lot to my husband so I let him take charge.

We decided to spend our Sunday in the city yesterday. Of course, a Sunday is never complete without a delicious brunch. We hang out in Soho often and always pass by this restaurant called “The Dutch”. This time we decided to actually eat there because we always say how cool it looks and the menu has a Korean infused style and the chef is Jason Hua.

Four years ago today, when I had barely started seeing my husband, he took me out to lunch and told me he wants me to be his. We were both working and he asked me to meet him for lunch. I was surprised because we had dinner plans later after work but he insisted that he wanted to see me for lunch. So we met at a Vietnamese Restaurant we usually went to for Phó. He was very restless. I asked him if everything was okay? Continue reading “Four Happiest Years Of My Life”
