The Ever Magical Amalfi Coast

If you’ve been to the Amalfi Coast you know how beautiful and unique it is. The smell of the sea, the bougainvillea flowers everywhere, the winding roads along the cliff side, the sunset and how it turns the water pink and silver each time… it’s truly magical!

Our dear friends Michelle & Shervin got married there a few weeks ago and it was absolutely beautiful.  An unforgettable trip with some of my favorite people ever.

The cherry on top of this whole trip was that my sister and her boyfriend got to join us !  We had such a wonderful time together that I still can’t believe it actually happen.  For as long as I can remember my sister and I used to always dream about renting a boat in the amalfi coast and enjoy the Mediterranean summer together.  This year we made that dream into a reality.

And it couldn’t have been more perfect.  We rented a beautiful boat for the day and sailed along the coast from Capri to Positano, Minori, and Amalfi.  We visited all 3 grottos , swam in them, and sailed under the legendary Faraglioni.

I haven’t even started to talk about the divine Italian food ! Mama mía!  I will save that for another blog 😉

First Christmas In New York

And it was all SO delicious. This is our first year away from home for the holidays and I know Christmas means a lot to my husband so I let him take charge.

Apple Picking Season

It’s officially fall here in New York!

As the the weather cools down and the trees turn color, New Yorkers find their way to farms and orchards to pick their favorite apples and pumpkins.  As Cali people obviously I was not familiar with this fun tradition but we decided to give it a try.  We had such a good time running through the corn mazes and eating delicious cinnamon apply cider donuts.  They have lots of fun activities and some of these farms date back to the 1800’s!
